The hotel is situated in a pleasant neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful tree-lined gardens. The location is perfect as it is close to the town center, making it convenient for exploring the area. The staff at this hotel are friendly, kind, and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms are well-maintained with nice warm showers and some nice touches, such as a balcony overlooking the lovely surrounding gardens. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed my perfectly cooked egg.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

Loved staying here, it was clean, friendly staff, looked beautiful from the outside with lovely garden to sit in. Good for parking and easy walking distance to beach and town. Good to have onsite bar and resturant also.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices that won't break the bank. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms, although lacking in some modern features, were comfortable and had a nice warm shower. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located in a lovely area.
All was good.

The outside appearance of the hotel was attractive and there was plenty of parking space. The room was very spacious and reasonably decorated. The breakfast was good!
The service was not very friendly.

The hotel/pub is in a lovely, rather unusual, victorian building (Swiss Cottage) with many original features. We received a friendly reception from the owners and their staff, our room was comfortable and we were served a very good traditional English breakfast
It was slightly difficult to find as there was no street number given and although the building was easy to spot it called itself a pub and restaurant rather than a hotel so at first we weren't sure if we were in the right place

This hotel offers excellent value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location in the area is perfect for exploring nearby attractions, and I would definitely stay here again. The friendly staff provide great service and the basic amenities in the rooms are accompanied by some nice touches. I particularly enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the lovely surrounding gardens, adding an extra touch of relaxation. The breakfast was also delicious, with the option to customize my eggs to my liking.
The hanging space in the bedroom was uninviting to use.

We have stayed at beechwood hall many times but this was our first visit since the new owners took over. The hotel had become very run down but the new owners have done a great job renovating. There is still a way to go but the hotel is now clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly, food excellent.
My only criticism is that the time of breakfast was rather late 8.30 on a weekday so we could not make the early start we needed on our departure day without missing breakfast. The bar was closed early in the evening which meant no possibility of a nightcap on our return each day. However these two things apart It was a pleasant stay and we will be returning in future. I would recommend the hotel but would warn them to expect a homely stay rather than anything too fancy.

We had a personal service, we felt like we were people not just a number. It felt very cosy too .
bar closed early so on our arrival back from our theatre trip we couldnt relax with a nice drink.

Don't be put off by the very standard pub menu - the food that turned up was way better than that.

We got rm. No. 5 on1F, clean, spacious, good decorate, provide everything as good hotel feel like homey. Toilet is large and clean. Dine here is great food, try signature food(Salmon and pastry). You will love it. Owners and staff is polite and kind. Lots of parking. Everything is good quality shown that owners are caring. Recommended
Nothing to complain. There is a bit dirty on ceiling. I don't like the carpet in toilet even though is clean and keeps us warm(our personal opinion).

The hotel offered a delicious Christmas dinner with a wide variety of food options, including a tasty roast turkey with all the trimmings. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure everyone had a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. the hotel had a festive atmosphere with beautiful decorations and a cozy fireplace in the common area, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
The rooms were quite small and cramped, making it difficult to move around freely. The lack of storage space was also an issue, as there was limited room for luggage and personal belongings.

reception area a mess. bathroom had toilet holder missing, glass holder missing, room had holes in the walls. we were not given or offered a receipt upon checking out, we did not receive a warm welcome. There were no offers for early morning calls, newspapers. general atmosphere was awful. Food at breakfast very greasy. Overall not a good experience

The building was very nice but the rooms were rather small. Although this hotel has been totally refurbished there was an item hanging off the wall ie loo-roll holder. The room appeared not to have been hoovered as there were 'bits' on the carpet and paper behind a cabinet which had obviously not been moved for cleaning. However the evening meal and breakfast were superb and the staff friendly.
